ADU UNIT

The ADU design will be a space that is accessible and functional for seniors to live in that allows for aging in place to occur while also catering to their changing needs. The space will have furniture that is adjustable and lightweight so that it can be moved around to accommodate different comfort levels for tasks and or events that occur. Both furniture and materials will be durable products that are easy to clean, provide comfort and support, and allow for easy mobility. Biophilia design is incorporated into the space through natural characteristics in materials, furniture, colour, and wall art. Lastly, large windows and skylights are provided that bring in an abundance of natural light as well as green and blue colour schemes to provide a calming and soothing environment.
